insights from The Founder/PrinCIPAL
Only 3 mandatory 3rd-party inspections in Australia vs 13 - 20 inspections in USA for a detached home
While majority of the self-certifications by trades in Australia are fine, still far too many examples of poor quality due to cost pressures and widespread shortage of tradesmen. Third party inspections by us provide assurance and peace of mind.
Inspection FAQs
What does the inspection process involve?
Our inspections cover key construction stages, verifying compliance with building codes, quality of workmanship, and contract specifications. We provide detailed reports highlighting any issues and recommendations for correction.
How are inspection fees structured?
We offer transparent pricing with no hidden costs, tailored to your specific construction needs. Fees depend on the size and complexity of the project and the number of inspection visits required. We operate differently from most Building Inspection companies. We don't do isolated 1 , 2 or 3 inspections. For Volume builds, we offer fixed price premium package which consist of Contract review, 6-8 inspections and varitions claim advice. The fee is between $6,600 to $10,400. Our Project Management service for bespoke builds include upto 15 inspections based on various factors.
What can clients expect during inspections?
Clients receive clear communication throughout the process, including timely updates and comprehensive reports. We act as your advocate to ensure your home meets quality and safety standards at every stage.
How do inspections help with quality assurance?
Our technical assessments provide objective evidence to support potential non-compliance with NCC, AS standards, and contractual specifications etc. Building certification inspections (usually arranged by the builder) focus only on NCC compliance and don't look for contractual issues such as wrong paint colour etc. We forward these reports to builder for action and remediation and liaise with them until all issues are resolved.
